Wolff Walsrode sold to Dow Chemical
Leverkusen. The acquisition of Wolff Walsrode by The Dow Chemical Company has now been completed. The purchase price of €540 million includes a cash component and the assumption of financial debt and pension commitments. Following regulatory clearance from the authorities in various countries, closing took place on June 30, 2007. Dow plans to combine the Wolff Walsrode activities with its Water Soluble Polymers business.
